For when spreadsheets are no longer enough.
Plenty of businesses run on a pile of spreadsheets only one person fully understands. While the team is small, that works. Once transaction volume rises the same problems appear every time: two different versions of the same file, stock numbers that do not match reality, and reports that arrive a week after the month closes.
I build systems that replace that pile with a single source of data. There is a real example in this portfolio: a central-kitchen ERP with FIFO batch tracking, real-time cost-of-goods calculation, and double-entry bookkeeping generated automatically from operational transactions rather than re-keyed by staff.
This kind of work starts by understanding how you actually operate today, including the exceptions and habits that never made it into the SOP. A system that ignores the exceptions gets abandoned by the team within two weeks.
